Landfill /Civil Engineer III

Oversee engineering and construction at seven landfills and three transfer stations, managing professional consulting firms, contractors, and budgets from bid preparation through final approval. Direct and mentor junior staff while maintaining regulatory relationships to represent the company in permit meetings, hearings, and site inspections. Actively track capital budgets, coordinate landfill capacity projections, and evaluate sites for expansion potential through regular visits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and compliance issues, participate in acquisition due diligence, and pursue beneficial permit modifications.
