Land Surveyor

Job Summary
Perform land/field surveys, geodetic calculations, and structural inspections while interfacing with clients and contractors to verify project requirements. Complete surveying tasks within man-hour and cost budgets, checking setting-out, levels, and service locations to ensure their protection. Prepare sketches and 'as-built' drawings, maintain field books and calculations, and measure work as needed. Observe site safety procedures and participate in health and safety issues as required by the Resident Engineer and project Safety Representative. Requires a BSc degree in Engineering, minimum 5 years of infrastructure experience, and proficiency with CAD, total station, and GPS equipment.
Required Qualifications
- BSc degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure and Roads (Tunnels/underpasses) projects
- Knowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment
- Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry
- Previous experience working with MCC
