Land Surveyor

Job Summary
Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations while interfacing with clients and contractors to verify project survey requirements. Complete surveying tasks within schedule, man-hour, and cost budgets by checking setting-out, levels, and service locations. Prepare sketches, maintain field books and calculations, measure work, and verify control points and benchmarks. Record initial and final work levels and assist in preparing and reviewing 'as-built' drawings. Act positively on all health and safety issues at site as required by the Resident Engineer and project Safety Representative. Review drawings and documents related to the works.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role
- Minimum 5 years' Middle East experience
- Knowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate clearly with site teams and management
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry preferred
- Qatar project experience preferred
