Job Summary
Land Surveyor responsible for field surveys using GPS equipment, total stations, and theodolites to measure distances, angles, and elevations; boundary determination for deeds and legal documents; research of land titles and historical maps; data analysis and mapping with GIS/CAD; construction support with accurate topography. Licensure as Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) required; Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or civil engineering commonly expected. Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS software, and modern surveying instruments; strong math skills; ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.
