Job Summary
Lead land surveying projects and supervise field crews to collect data using GPS/GNSS and conventional techniques; sign and seal survey documents and take professional responsibility for work; manage project plans, schedules, QA/QC, client communications, and business development activities; perform data reduction and drafting of final survey products; utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS software, field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations; ensure compliance with local survey laws; require an active PLS license and 5+ years of project management experience in surveying; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or equivalent licensure
- Licensed by state/province in Land Surveying or equivalent Licensure
- Active PLS or Ohio/Pennsylvania PS License is mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years in managing survey and GIS projects
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS software, and surveying instruments
- Ability to sign and seal survey documents
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
