Job Summary
Check with the Crew Chief for daily scope, load GPS equipment, batteries, radios, and survey supplies including flags and posts, and keep the company vehicle clean. Drive to and from job sites, set up and tear down GPS bases, carry supplies in a lath bag or backpack, and maintain water throughout the day. Unload unused equipment, charge batteries, and verify tasks with the Crew Chief before leaving. Perform weekly duties including entering time on Mondays, cleaning GPS units, washing trucks, and maintaining the office and shop areas. Requires a high school diploma, six months of surveying assistant experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 6+ months experience as a Surveying Assistant
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift 75 lbs
- Current and valid drivers license with MVR that meets Company requirements
- Willingness and ability to enroll in a drug & alcohol screening and criminal background program
- Ability to walk for long periods of time
- Ability to operate ATV's through a variety of terrains
