Job Summary
Lead and supervise one or more field survey team members while performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, construction layout, and as-built surveys. Collect, process, and verify field data to ensure accuracy, establish horizontal and vertical control networks, and prepare field notes, sketches, and daily photos. Maintain survey equipment in proper working condition, monitor crew productivity, and provide training to junior staff. Travel extensively to project sites up to 75% of the time to support operations, ensuring all work complies with company standards and state surveying requirements. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region are required. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive experience in land surveying
- Proficiency operating surveying equipment, , and data collection software
- Thorough understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, field procedures, and construction staking
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time and work at project sites throughout the region and other locations as needed
