Job Summary
Land Securement roles focused on identifying, negotiating, and securing land for renewable energy project development in the Philippines. Responsibilities include identifying and securing land rights (lease/purchase), conducting due diligence (land titles, encumbrances, tax declarations, ROWs), supporting permitting with LGUs and national agencies (DENR, DAR, Registry of Deeds, BIR), performing site inspections and boundary verification using GIS/GPS tools, managing land data and reporting, and coordinating with landowners, local communities, and government entities in collaboration with CSR/external affairs teams. Positions range by level from hands-on execution to coordination and potential team leadership. Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and knowledge of property law and regulatory frameworks are required; GIS/GPS familiarity is an advantage; field-based work is emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in land securement, land acquisition, stakeholder management, or related legal/field roles
- Experience with land documentation, titling, or due diligence processes
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with ability to engage landowners, communities, and government agencies
- Understanding of property law, land titling procedures, and regulatory frameworks in the Philippines
- Familiarity with survey plans, mapping tools, and GIS/GPS systems is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple field activities and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a field-based environment
