Job Summary
Conduct land development projects by preparing complete documentation including plans, specifications, and estimates while managing multiple assignments within budget and schedule. Evaluate and adapt standard techniques for site and drainage design, then collaborate with contractors and team members to solve problems and deliver on time. Present engineering assignments at project meetings and interpret plans to generate drawings, specifications, and maintenance documents.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-7 years of civil site and drainage design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Stormwater permitting experience
- Grading and drainage design experience
- Utility design
- Analytical skills to perform engineering calculations for design, analysis, test and implementation of facilities related systems
- Proven ability to work with team members of diverse experience and educational backgrounds
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
- Experience with generating drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures and maintenance/training documents
- Proficient in developing and tracking project budgets and schedules
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Must provide preparation of complete project documentation to include plans, specifications, and estimates including the collection, assembling, and organizing of project data
- Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to project assignments

- Prepares project scopes, tasks, budgets, and schedules
- Will interact and collaborate with contractors, and other project team members
- Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments/projects
- This is an in-office position
- The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time from our Orlando office
