Job Summary
Lead and manage land development projects from concept through construction, serving as the engineer of record for site development plans and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Drive planning, design, permitting, and construction-support activities; liaise with municipal staff, regulatory agencies, and clients to secure permits and approvals; mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development; contribute to business development through proposal writing and client presentations. Requires PE license in PA (or transfer), a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of experience in land development, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in office as needed; travel to project sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA or ability to transfer from another state immediately
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in land development engineering
- Proven track record managing land development projects from concept to construction
- Strong knowledge of local zoning ordinances, land use codes, and permitting processes
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
