Job Summary
Meet with customers to review concept plans and define project direction with the design/build contracting team. Develop relationships with external surveying, due diligence, and landscape architecture consultants while performing site investigative due diligence. Prepare schematic site plans, grading, and utility plans to illustrate site developability based on constraints. Conduct storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis to inform site planning for cost and constructability. Act as a subject matter expert for construction project managers and junior engineering associates. This role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 3-6+ years of land development experience. Full-time, on-site position in Charlotte, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related degree)
- 3-6+ years of hands-on land development experience in an engineering firm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing/mentoring a team is highly preferred
- proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- proficiency using Microsoft Word
