Job Summary
Meet with customers to review concept plans and define project direction with the design/build contracting team. Develop relationships with external consultants for surveying, due diligence, and landscape architecture while performing site investigative due diligence. Prepare schematic site plans, grading, and utility plans to illustrate developability, then conduct storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis to inform cost-effective site planning. Act as a subject matter expert for construction project managers and junior engineers, training and mentoring associates to grow the Columbus team. This role requires a Civil Engineer with 5-10+ years of land development experience to deliver design-build solutions across the country.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related degree)
- 5-10+ years of hands-on land development experience in an engineering firm
- Computer skills: proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing/mentoring a team is highly preferred
