Land Development Manager

Job Summary
Oversee all phases of land development for company-owned properties, including conceptual planning, preliminary and final plats, securing subdivision and development approvals, and managing negotiations with engineers, contractors, and municipalities. Lead budgeting, proformas, and infrastructure design coordination with dry utilities; ensure compliance with SWPPP; manage schedules with critical path analysis and milestone tracking; coordinate with Residential Property Owners’ Associations and Municipal Utility Districts; collaborate with internal teams on market research, sales initiatives, and advertising efforts; guide contract negotiations and administration and supervise architects, engineers, and consultants.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three (3) years of land development experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with value engineering and knowledge of the local market, including contractor availability, pricing, and entitlement processes
- Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional demeanor with a strong sense of ethics and accountability
