Job Summary
Solicit, analyze, and meet with contractors for bids on all new development projects, then prepare and submit contracts for execution. Visit development sites weekly to manage contractors through all stages of development to completion, including parks, monuments, amenities, and landscaping. Perform final walks with local jurisdictions for street, water/sewer acceptance and bond release, while working with dry utility companies to ensure utilities are scheduled and monitored through completion. This Land Development Manager role supports multi-million-dollar development deals at LGI Homes in the Orlando area, requiring at least 5+ years of land development experience and a valid driver's license. Some travel may be required as needed.
