Job Summary
Direct roadway construction, water and sewer installation, earthwork, landscape, and irrigation activities while coordinating public utilities and managing field operations for erosion control, grading, and paving. Oversee projects from permit approvals through final certification and community turnover, ensuring compliance with environmental studies, geotechnical reports, and engineering plans. Manage HOA budgets, quarterly meetings, and common open space improvements while maintaining bond maintenance and retrieving guaranties. Reconcile project development budgets with the Director and deliver amenity centers and landscaping. Requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, five years of land development experience, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role with regular on-site presence at job sites and offices.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Good driving record
- Valid auto insurance coverage
- Ability to work in excess of eight hours per day
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read plans
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to operate construction equipment (occasional)
- Finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours
