Job Summary
Prepare engineering plans, designs, and drawings for commercial, residential, and institutional development projects. Perform site feasibility analyses, conceptual planning, and site layout design, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control plans. Conduct field investigations, perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, and utilize Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software to produce deliverables. Support project permitting activities, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and participate in quality control reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, and public agencies throughout all phases of project development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of land development experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Strong understanding of site civil engineering principles and land development practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Experience with Bentley StormCAD or similar stormwater modeling software
- Familiarity with GIS applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with permitting processes and regulatory agency coordination
