Job Summary
Provide engineering design and review for commercial, residential, and institutional land development projects, including municipal water, sewer, and storm water design. Coordinate with project managers and engineers while utilizing AutoCAD or MicroStation to prepare drawings. Correspond with clients and permit reviewers under Project Manager direction and ensure quality control procedures are implemented. Complete tasks within deadlines and project budgets while remaining familiar with state and local permitting processes. Work primarily in the Cary, NC office setting with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- 0 to 4 years of civil/site related work experience
- Passed the FE Exam
- Must be willing to travel on occasion
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- EI certification a plus
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of MicroStation/GeoPak or AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop a plus
