Land Development Coordinator

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate land development initiatives through planning approvals and design coordination, manage site plans and variances, collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants, prepare planning reports and presentations, monitor project schedules and budgets, contribute to feasibility research, and represent the company at municipal meetings and public engagements. Strong foundation in site planning, urban design, and municipal planning processes is essential for success.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in land development, urban planning, or site design
- Demonstrated knowledge of municipal planning policies, zoning by-laws, and the development approvals process—experience in Southwestern Ontario is preferred
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design and planning software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports, presentations, and submission packages with minimal oversight
- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability
