Job Summary

Provide administrative support and coordination to track and maintain land opportunities, preparing feasibility books and interfacing with escrow, title companies, brokers, attorneys, and consultants. Maintain and organize land acquisition files, monitor deposit payments and escrow schedules, and track due diligence budgets while expediting invoice payments. Assist in coordinating communications with legal counsel, architects, and market consultants; prepare collateral materials such as aerial photos and maps; and distribute internal feasibility memos and folders. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and market research reports, making minor adjustments to financial proformas as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned, including executing close-out documents and maintaining escrow and title files. This primarily sedentary office position requires occasional lifting of supplies under 25 pounds and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and JD Edwards systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience with a home-builder, developer, or real estate-related company
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Unrestricted motor vehicle license
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
  • Effective interaction with co-workers
  • Understanding and adherence to work rules and procedures
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less
  • Finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Professional work ethic with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent math, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • JD Edwards systems experience
  • Home building or title company experience
  • Ability to manage priorities under pressure
