Job Summary
Land Coordinator serves as the operational hub of the Land Department, supporting land acquisitions and development activities from initial pursuit through takedown and construction. Responsibilities include maintaining the master land pipeline tracker, monitoring contract-related deadlines (feasibility timelines, earnest money deposits, closing dates, lot takedown schedules), coordinating documentation and acquisition checklists with Project Managers, and supporting underwriting/due diligence items and market analyses. Prepare CMAs and analyze market data using tools like Excel/Smartsheet; compile comparable sales data, pricing trends, absorption rates, and market metrics. The role involves proactive notification of leadership about deadlines and conflicts, coordination with legal counsel, title companies, and external parties, and ensuring accurate reporting to VP/Directors. The Land Project Coordinator prepares analyses but does not establish pricing strategy or approve acquisition decisions. Travel is minor; the role is office-based with standard business hours and potential after-hours work as needed. Proficiency in data organization and strong written/verbal communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in market data coordination, development coordination, real estate operations
- Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, Word, PPT, budgeting, and data organization
