Land Assistant Development Manager

Job Summary

Support the Project Manager in analyzing new land opportunities, performing due diligence on acquisitions, and coordinating information sharing among land development, acquisitions, and construction teams. Manage due diligence property documents, attend MUD meetings, and oversee construction of entrances, lots, and amenities by coordinating contractors and inspectors. Conduct field observations, site visits, and inspections for startups, final walkthroughs, and turnovers while assisting with permitting, insurance, and contract negotiations. Process payroll, track budgets, and ensure proper property documentation storage. Requires 1-3 years of land development experience, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and ability to travel.

  • Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary

  • Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times
  • Periodic travel may be required

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of land development/infrastructure construction experience preferred
  • exposure to increasing levels of project oversight is a plus
  • Land Experience preferred
  • Experience as a Land Analyst
  • Familiarity with MUD (Municipal Utility District)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
