Job Summary
Connect students, staff, and the school community to the land, language, and culture of the Liard First Nation through relationship-building, curriculum support, and on-the-land programming. Collaborate with school staff, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community members to integrate Kaska language and culturally responsive practices while fostering students' sense of identity and belonging. Create meaningful learning experiences that honor Dene K'éh traditions and strengthen partnerships between the school and community.
Required Qualifications
- experience building strong and trusting relationships with partners
- providing strategic advice and guidance
- comfort in the unknown
- desire to create new processes
- comfortable using computers, phones, and common workplace technology
- willingness and ability to learn these tools, including email, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications
