Job Summary
Review and analyze oil and gas leases, exploration and production contracts, and title documents to maintain asset records and contractual obligations. Enter data into lease and contract systems, process AFEs and associated ballots, and coordinate interest changes with land and division order departments. Prepare and maintain lease files, update records for well completions, and facilitate record management for original documents and correspondence. Research inquiries regarding broker billings, respond to partner inquiries on royalty matters, and assist landmen in preparing contracts and regulatory orders. Independently evaluate land administration solutions, assess risks, and contribute to developing innovative tools for data quality and process efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or any other related discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in areas such as Leasing, Land, Land Administration, including Lease Records or Division Orders, Land Management, Title and Ownership Verification, or a related field
