Job Summary
Lead negotiations to secure land rights for energy infrastructure projects, review land values and compensation, and provide input into route planning. Serve as a key liaison between ATCO and landowners, support project documentation and lifecycle processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement of land-related guidelines. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with landowners, industry partners, and government agencies, while traveling within the ATCO service area and accommodating landowners’ needs. Emphasizes safety, integrity, agility, caring, and collaboration in daily work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year Land Agent diploma or Land Agent certificate
- Valid Alberta Land Agent License and Commissioner for Oaths
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel throughout service area and work outside standard hours as needed
- Understanding of land acquisition, route planning, and regulatory requirements
