Job Summary
Land Acquisition Manager responsible for identifying new land opportunities aligned with division strategy, performing research and analysis, managing land data, and supporting the development of financial pro formas and land packages. Responsibilities include direct outreach to landowners and brokers, utilizing maps and appraisal data, maintaining transaction logs, following municipal agendas, performing due diligence (zoning, utilities, surveys, title work, soil reports, etc.), creating exhibits with mapping tools, developing market and financial analyses, preparing LOIs and submittals for committee approval, and supporting cross-functional team efforts to source and evaluate land deals for homebuilding projects.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in land acquisitions, planning, and development
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports or legal documents
- Capacity to plan, organize, manage, and supervise activities of direct reports
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields is required. A Master's degree is a plus.
