Job Summary
Coordinate landowner outreach, validate property records, and track milestones for federal land acquisition and infrastructure projects. Collect, organize, and analyze real estate data to identify discrepancies, duplicate records, and conflicting ownership claims. Develop communications, briefing materials, and visual reports that summarize project progress, spending, risks, and next steps for executive leadership. Maintain accurate project tracking systems, communication logs, and action-item trackers while ensuring data consistency and quality control. Prepare meeting agendas, document decisions, and provide data-driven updates to multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be able to work in-person with time both on-site and opportunities for remote work based on client needs in Washington, D.C.
- Candidates will be provided with a computer; however, they must have a steady internet connection
- Must be able to appropriately handle sensitive personally identifiable information and property-related records
Desired Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, real estate transactions, land acquisition, title research, due diligence, public outreach, communications, project coordination, program analysis, or a related field
- Experience supporting federal, state, or local government programs or large infrastructure projects
- Experience comparing information across multiple records, databases, documents, and source systems and identifying, resolving, or documenting discrepancies
- Experience managing project data, trackers, communication logs, contact records, schedules, or similar information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting landowner correspondence, outreach materials, reports, summaries, meeting materials, and executive-level communications
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data validation, lookup functions, pivot tables, data reconciliation, and analysis of large datasets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to prepare accurate and concise reports and executive-level summaries related to project progress, spending, risks, performance, outreach, and acquisition status
- Familiarity with real estate transactions, deeds, title documents, public records, parcel data, eminent domain, federal land acquisition processes, or property ownership research
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), parcel mapping, or geospatial data
- Experience supporting infrastructure, real estate, land acquisition, landowner engagement, or property-related projects
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Ability to investigate conflicting information, identify patterns and potential risks, and clearly document conclusions, assumptions, and unresolved questions
- Ability to manage multiple properties, stakeholders, tasks, deadlines, communications, and reporting requirements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team
