Job Summary
Lead land acquisition strategies for large-scale railway and highway infrastructure projects, coordinating with government authorities, revenue departments, and BOT agencies to ensure compliance with Land Acquisition Acts and Revenue Laws. Execute documentation, reports, and proposals for clearances while providing legal guidance on dispute resolution and compensation frameworks. Monitor acquisition progress to flag risks and support project teams in negotiations and settlements. Requires a graduate degree with at least seven years of experience, preferably including five years in Railway/Highway liaison roles or three years in State Government Administration. In-depth knowledge of local laws and strong negotiation skills are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Degree
- Minimum 7 years of overall professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of Land Acquisition Laws and Revenue Laws
- Strong liaison and negotiation skills with government and private stakeholders
- Good drafting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts
- Legal and regulatory acumen
- Negotiation & stakeholder management

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in local language
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required
