Job Summary
Tutor large groups of up to 15 students in Elementary and Middle School Math and ELA using provided curriculum while maintaining a welcoming classroom environment. Deliver lessons, track attendance and progress via the HeyTutor Dashboard, assist with assessments, and escort students to designated campus areas. Manage student behavior independently and clock in/out daily using Deputy. Available Monday through Friday between 12:00pm and 5:30pm with an in-person background check required. This role supports HeyTutor's high-dosage tutoring model, which has delivered over 1 million lessons nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college
- Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check
- Monday–Friday availability
- Availability between 12:00pm-5:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children or tutoring
- Comfortable tutoring Elementary and Middle School Math and English Language Arts (ELA)
- Ability to manage large groups of students independently
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Spanish Bilingual
