Job Summary
Tutor large groups of students up to 15 without direct teacher supervision using provided curriculum and materials. Deliver lessons in a welcoming environment, support positive student behavior, and track attendance and progress via the HeyTutor Dashboard. Escort students to designated campus areas and clock in/out daily using Deputy. Assist with assessments when requested and complete additional duties as assigned. Requires Monday–Friday availability between 12:00pm–5:30pm, an Associate's degree or college enrollment, and passing an FBI-DOJ background check. Pay ranges from $20–$26 per hour with attendance incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college
- Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check
- Monday–Friday availability
- Availability between 12:00pm-5:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children or tutoring
- Comfortable tutoring Elementary and Middle School Math and English Language Arts (ELA)
- Ability to manage large groups of students independently
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Spanish Bilingual
