Job Summary
Assist in the operation of the Laminator in the safest, most effective, and efficient manner while adhering to established quality standards. Participate in training and practice SPOT Safety Program fundamentals. Locate material for current and upcoming jobs to keep the machine running smoothly. Load process conditions via recipe program and enter necessary data. Flag rejects in master rolls, monitor pumping systems for proper mix, utilize SOPs, assist in mounting sleeves during changeovers, interpret job jackets and Product Specs, perform end-of-order cleanup, and complete quality checks and paperwork. Attend scheduled meetings and comply with company policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED and prior APC manufacturing experience or related printing/laminating/bag making experience. Operates in a rotating 1st/2nd shift. Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical information; strong attention to detail; safety-conscious; able to operate powered industrial trucks; strong teamwork and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in APC manufacturing positions or specific industry related printing/laminating/bag making experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
