Job Summary
Roll fiberglass and resin composite materials to required specifications, ensuring proper saturation and air removal using a hand roller mounted on a 4–6-foot pole. Trim pool copings and excess materials to specified dimensions while verifying material thickness with a MIL gauge. Gather, stage, and place reinforcements and core materials accurately, then inspect parts prior to layup to meet quality standards. Complete required quality assurance forms, follow Safety Data Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures, and train others in laminating techniques. Consistently wear personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety protocols. This dayshift position runs Monday through Friday in Zephyrhills, FL, with a starting salary of $21.91 to $23.06 and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions, including work orders, SOPs, and safety documentation
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods throughout the work shift
- Flexibility to work overtime and possibly have schedule changed when production requires
