Lamination Technician

Job Summary
Lamination Technician applies fiberglass and resin to hull and/or deck molds. Responsibilities include moving parts within the lamination department, prepping parts to Maverick Boat Group standards, selecting appropriate fiberglass material, rolling out laminate to eliminate air bubbles, spraying chopped fiberglass, resin, and catalyst with a pneumatic spray gun, maintaining chop gun cleanliness, trimming excess material from molds, cutting fiberglass mat from spool, using a mill gauge to determine material thickness, and performing duties safely in a fast-paced environment with required PPE and safety policies. Skills and competencies include teamwork, quality focus, dependability, and attendance; physical duties involve lifting up to 50 lbs and various manual tasks; education requirement is a High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
