Lamination Technician

Job Summary
Lamination Technician applies fiberglass and resin to hull and/or deck molds. Move parts within the lamination department; prep parts per Maverick Boat Group standards; select fiberglass material by part model; roll out laminate to eliminate air bubbles using hand tools and rollers; spray chopped fiberglass, resin, and catalyst on molds with a pneumatic spray gun; maintain cleanliness and functionality of the chop gun; trim excess material from molds; cut fiberglass mat from spool as needed with scissors; use a mill gauge to determine material thickness; perform duties safely in a fast-paced environment following PPE and hazardous material guidelines; maintain housekeeping and follow safety policies; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- General math skills
- Reasoning ability to apply basic instructions and solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with PPE and safety policies
- Teamwork and dependable attendance
