Job Summary
Apply film to textiles and prepare rolls for shipment while monitoring machine variables to maintain proper operating conditions. Follow instructions for laminating rolls and adjust run conditions with Quality Control Lab and Technical staff to meet target fabric properties. Operate equipment according to SOPs, conform to safety guidelines, and handle warehouse equipment like fork trucks. Requires high school diploma, basic English proficiency, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Monday-Friday, 5:45 am – 4:00 pm, starting at $21.00/hour with a $3,000 retention bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak basic English
- Reliable transportation required
- Pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check required
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Proven work experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with the use of fork trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
- Strong communication skills
