Lamination Assistant (PFC)

Job Summary
Set up lamination rolls, load materials, and monitor resin levels while performing visual inspections for product defects. Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices by maintaining plant sanitation, organizing materials, and resolving workflow issues. Immediately report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and operating basic tools in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, high temperatures, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment is mandatory, and employees must have their own transportation for multi-facility visits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have general knowledge of packaging equipment principles
- Ability to visually check for defects in the product and sense temperature changes in the finished product
- Demonstrate knowledge of relevant equipment policies and procedures
- Must be knowledgeable of GMPs and HACCP
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to operate basic tools and measuring devices (tape measure, scale, etc.)
- Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and carrying for extended period
- Going up and down ladders/steps
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English to effectively communicate and interpret instructions
- Need to have own transportation to visit more than one facility during the day
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in manufacturing, preferably in flexible plastic packaging
