Job Summary
Perform all tasks involved in packaging product according to plan, including basic equipment maintenance, cleaning, and stocking raw materials. Conduct visual inspections of finished products being moved or loaded onto outbound trucks to identify unacceptable conditions and initiate corrective action. Collaborate with team members to report and correct quality issues, productivity improvements, or cost reduction initiatives, while assisting maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Maintain high accuracy and quality of finished material, troubleshooting problems during day-to-day production and understanding escalation processes. Operate all required tooling and machinery, including forklifts, while working a rotating shift schedule involving days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to operate all tooling and machinery required to perform required job duties
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality of finished material
- Ability to dependably work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- face shield/goggles, dust mask/ respirator, hard hat, ear plugs, and high visibility vest required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
