Job Summary
B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join the SPA program in Canberra, ACT. Responsible for maintenance and repair of the RAAF’s special purpose aircraft fleet to ensure safety and airworthiness, and to support deployed operations as a travelling engineer. Requires experience in line and heavy maintenance, ability to work both in a team and autonomously during travelling assignments, and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. CASA licence (B1 and/or B2) is required; type-rating on B737 or Falcon 7X is preferred but training can be provided. Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate and family, including moving costs and temporary accommodation. ITAR considerations and Australian citizenship are noted; pre-employment drug/alcohol testing, police checks, and employment screening will apply.
