Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service to guests at Sender One Lakewood, delivering memorable climbing experiences and guiding guests through offerings (Day Use, Multi Day Use, Memberships, Groups & Parties, Programs, Yoga & Fitness) while maintaining safety and product knowledge. Lead introduction climbing courses, orientation tours, and belay tests; assist with check-in/out; support sales goals; coordinate with Programs, Facilities, Groups & Parties, Marketing, Retail, and Route Setting; lift up to 50 lbs; assist with Pro Shop products; complete department checklists; participate in All Staff meetings; Level 2 adds independently leading weekday/weekend groups/parties and administering lead climbing/belay checks. Requires climbing experience, First Aid/CPR certification, proficiency with Google Suite, Rock Gym Pro, and Basecamp; must be available to work at least one weekend day per week and a minimum of 16 hours per week. Open to growth within a customer-focused team.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Top rope & lead belay and climbing experience
- Knowledge of Google Suite – Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.
- Knowledge of Rock Gym Pro software
- Knowledge of Basecamp
- Experience coaching
