Job Summary
Lakebase Sales Specialist Account Executive in Sydney responsible for driving Lakebase adoption and revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within a defined territory. Sell fully-managed Postgres Lakebase for operational workloads, lead multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery to close, orchestrate proof-of-value/POCs with solution architects, and align with product, marketing, customer success, and partners to shape territory plans and co-sell motions. Communicate the business value of Lakebase to both technical and business stakeholders, including developers, data engineers, architects, and IT leaders. Engage in executive-level conversations, build a business case, and demonstrate how Lakebase improves governance, cost efficiency, and time-to-market for new features. Requirements include 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; preferred qualifications cover experience selling Postgres/OLTP workloads, data platforms, lakehouse concepts, AI-native applications, and collaboration with partners/ISVs. The role emphasizes strategic account engagement, field enablement, and contributing to a global presence through internal/external forums and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience.
