Job Summary
Lakebase Sales Specialist to drive Lakebase activations and consumption within a defined territory, partnering with regional Account Executives and cross-functional teams to articulate the value of Lakebase as a fully-managed Postgres service for operational workloads. Lead multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery to close, orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs with solution architects, and compete using benchmarks and customer references. Responsibilities include aligning to measurable business outcomes, enabling field teams with messaging, and shaping territory plans with product, marketing, CS, and partners. The role requires proven enterprise SaaS sales experience, ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders, and a track record of successful complex deals in data platforms or operational databases; Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; strong communication, negotiation, and executive-facing presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proven enterprise SaaS sales experience
- Experience selling data platforms or operational databases to technical buyers and business leaders
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures and cloud-native services
- Ability to sell to both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience leading specialist or overlay motions
- Executive presence and ability to communicate with senior decision makers
- Strong value selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
