Job Summary
Lake Compounce is seeking a Seasonal Human Resources Coordinator to support hiring/onboarding, records management, uniforms, scheduling, employee events, payroll coordination, timekeeping, and HR administration. Responsibilities include assisting with recruiting and interviewing, coordinating orientations, distributing uniforms and host IDs, maintaining compliance with employment laws, answering inquiries by phone/email, processing HR paperwork and transactions, and providing general administrative support. Ideal candidates will possess strong social, communication, writing, and organizational skills, with experience in HR-related tasks, onboarding, and payroll processes; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus. Must be 18+, able to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays, and proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Education beyond high school is encouraged but equivalent experience is acceptable; prior use of scheduling/workforce platforms is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year of related work experience in HR highly desired
- College education preferred but equivalent work experience will also be considered
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Knowledge of Google Sheets or Smart Sheet, a plus
- Ability to use office technology and equipment
- Follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee data
- Ability to convey professional attitude
- Experience with centralized scheduling or workforce management platforms (highly desired)
