Job Summary
The RM II consults with members to identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on transactions. Responsibilities include handling deposits and loan accounts (including HELOCs), posting deposits and loan payments, facilitating transfers, and recommending additional products and services. The role involves meeting performance goals, coaching other staff, and possibly taking on leadership duties in the absence of branch management. Core focus is on member experience, confidentiality, and professional representation of the Credit Union, with emphasis on identifying fraud, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to revenue targets through member conversations and needs-based solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- 18 months financial institution experience with prior loan experience
- Notary
- NMLS Registered
- Strong knowledge of deposit/loan products (Trust, IRA, certificates, loans/APPRO – loans decisioning system)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Coaching/Mentoring skills
- Compliance coursework completion
