Job Summary
Conduct efficient goods receipt, inbound and cross-docking, and order picking using handheld scanners. Safely pack and ship orders to research institutes and hospitals while managing various temperature zones and cold chain requirements. Operate floor-moving equipment for internal material handling and transport. This role requires a logistics background, forklift certification, and proficiency with ERP systems. Schedule includes regular day shifts from 7:00 to 15:30, with rotated shifts every eight weeks. Weekend and holiday work occurs only in exceptional cases. Located at the Leipzig/Halle airport distribution center, supporting Bio-Rad's European service operations for medical instruments and diagnostic supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung in der Logistik oder mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Logistik oder einem vergleichbaren Umfeld
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Handscannern und ERP-Systemen
- Gabelstaplerschein und Fahrerfahrung auf Front- und Schubmaststaplern
- Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Grundverständnis für den Warenfluss, das Befolgen von Sicherheitsvorschriften und das Einhalten von Qualitätsstandards
- Einsatzbereitschaft in versetzter Tagschicht
- Wochenend- und Feiertagsarbeit
Desired Qualifications
- mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Logistik oder einem vergleichbaren Umfeld
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Handscannern und ERP-Systemen (bevorzugt SAP)
- G25/G41-Eignung
- Grundkenntnisse in Englisch
