Job Summary
Welcoming guests with a warm smile; preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard; taking food and drink orders, making recommendations, and upselling; maintaining product knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and menu offerings; ensuring the bar and service areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service; handling payments and operating the till; supporting food service by delivering items promptly; monitoring stock and assisting with inventory; adhering to licensing laws and health & safety regulations; collaborating with bar, restaurant, and kitchen teams to deliver seamless service across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor
- Previous hospitality experience desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Strong attention to detail in orders, cash handling, and drink preparation
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
