Job Summary
Electrical Superintendent overseeing the safe installation of electrical systems on large-scale commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects, including power distribution, rough-in, trim, finish, and final punch phases. Responsibilities include reviewing project documents and schedules, coordinating layout and material readiness to meet project timelines, managing electrical materials and equipment on site, and ensuring adherence to NEC and local codes. Requires a track record of delivering multi-million-dollar commercial projects on time and within budget, strong knowledge of safety requirements, and the ability to communicate professionally with management, trade contractors, vendors, and clients. Must have 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent on large-scale projects and be prepared to work extended hours as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in running commercial electrical construction projects from ground to completion
- strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- experience with large-scale commercial/multifamily projects
- ability to read drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, schedules
- ability to manage materials, tools, and equipment
- ability to supervise field personnel and coordinate with vendors and clients
- flexibility to work long hours or weekends as needed
- hands-on familiarity with electrical tools and equipment (wire tugger, conduit benders, lifts, KO sets, backhoes, trencher, mini-excavators, generators)
- effective communication and professional interaction with management, support staff, field personnel, and stakeholders
- safety compliance and jobsite safety requirements
