Job Summary
Teach one or two graduate classes from a selection of addiction and counseling courses, including PSY 5313, PSY 5373, PSY 5423, PSY 5453, and PSY 5473. Collect assessment data for the courses and remain available to students before and after class via email. Deliver instruction through Zoom, with most classes meeting one day per week from 6:30 to 9:15pm CST. Submit academic transcripts, a teaching philosophy statement, and three letters of recommendation. Applicants must hold an M.A. or M.S. in Psychology or a related field along with licensure in drug and alcohol counseling.
Required Qualifications
- M.A. or M.S. in Psychology or a related field
- Licensure in drug and alcohol counseling for the state in which he or she resides (e.g., LADC in Oklahoma)
- Ability to teach classes through Zoom
- Availability for classes meeting one day per week from 6:30 – 9:15pm CST
- Ability to provide academic transcripts
- Ability to provide a statement of teaching philosophy
- Ability to provide three letters of recommendation
