Job Summary
Encourage and support breastfeeding for Kadlec Medical Center families including inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients, and employees. Update nursing staff and physicians on current information regarding breastfeeding and perform related duties as assigned. This per-diem, variable shift role requires a Washington Registered Nurse License, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), and one year of recent nursing experience with an emphasis on breastfeeding. Candidates must also hold National Provider BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing (or higher degree) from an accredited educational institution, or degree in progress
- If BSN or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Recent nursing experience
- emphasis on breast-feeding experience
