Job Summary
Encourage and support breastfeeding for Kadlec Medical Center families, including inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients, and employees. Update nursing staff and physicians on current breastfeeding information and perform related duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Washington Registered Nurse License, National Provider BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience with emphasis on breastfeeding. Schedule is per diem with variable shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing (or higher degree) from an accredited educational institution, or degree in progress
- If BSN or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Recent nursing experience
- emphasis on breast-feeding experience
