LACC Security Supervisor (PT)

Security Supervisor (Part-time) at Los Angeles Convention Center. Responsibilities include responding to security needs and calls for service; training, counseling, disciplining, evaluating, and supervising Security personnel; managing hours and rosters for 24-hour and event security staff; enforcing policies; coordinating with Guest Services to manage large crowds; ensuring facility security and safeguarding property; operating CCTV, Fire Control, radio communications, elevators, and lighting controls; developing and maintaining employee photo ID/credential programs; helping update policies and procedures with the VP and contributing to emergency evacuation planning; and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years of security experience (Legends Global/AEG considered 2:1), valid CA State Guard Card, strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of crowd management techniques, ability to train staff, roster/scheduling capabilities, ability to work variable hours including nights/weekends/holidays, reliable transportation, and professional representation of Legends Global and LACC. Preferred: 2+ years supervisory experience in venues, law enforcement or military background, experience interviewing/screening candidates, knowledge of scheduling software.
