LACC Security Supervisor (FT)

Security Supervisor FT at Los Angeles Convention Center. Responsibilities include responding to all security needs and calls for services; training, counseling, disciplining, evaluating and supervising Security personnel; managing hours for Security Officers and Supervisors (including 24-hour and event security staff); proactively enforcing LACC policies; coordinating with Guest Services to manage large crowds in dynamic event environments; ensuring property safety from vandalism; operating and monitoring security systems (CCTV, Fire Control, radios, elevators, lighting); developing and maintaining an employee photo ID/credential program; collaborating with the VP to update policies and the Emergency Evacuation Plan; and performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years security-related experience, a CA State Guard Card, strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, ability to train and guide new hires, roster/schedule management, flexibility for variable schedules (late hours, early mornings, holidays, weekends), reliable transportation, and the ability to represent Legends Global and LACC professionally. Preferred qualifications include prior supervisory experience in sports/entertainment/convention facilities, law enforcement or military experience, experience interviewing and screening candidates, and knowledge of scheduling software. This is an onsite, in-person role.
